NEW YORK, March 7 (Reuters) - Occidental Petroleum Corp (OXY.N) said on Monday it is in full compliance with U.S. sanctions on Libya.
Libya provides less than two percent of Occidental’s total worldwide production. The company’s share of production from Libyan properties in 2010 was approximately 13,000 barrels-of-oil-equivalent per day.
“We are not aware of the current production status of the Libya oilfields where Oxy produces,” said the spokesman in response to a question about the status of its fields. (Reporting by Jeffrey Kerr)
