FACTBOX-Base metals labour contract expiries in 2010/2011

Oct 5 (Reuters) - The handful of labour contracts due to
expire later this year at sizeable copper operations in Chile
will hold that market's attention in coming weeks as tight
supplies remain a concern and prices eye record highs.
While there is little to perturb watchers of other metals
through to the end of 2010, the calendar starts to look busy
across the board again as we move into 2011.
The expiry at Vale's Thompson nickel operations in Canada
will be watched more closely than those at aluminium and zinc
operations. There appears to be no danger of supplies of these
two metals being tight enough to cause concern even in the event
of strikes.
