NEW YORK, June 22 (Reuters) - BG Group’s BG.L liquefied natural gas tanker, Seri Bijaksana, is expected to arrive at the Elba Island LNG terminal in Georgia from Egypt on June 26, according to AISLive ship tracker on Reuters.
The 145,000-cubic-meter tanker was last seen in the east Atlantic heading west, the data showed. It follows BG’s Maran Gas Asclepius tanker which arrived at the U.S. terminal on June 18.
In June, Elba Island is expected to receive up to six cargoes of LNG, totaling around 17 billion cubic feet (bcf) of gas, down from about 26 bcf seen in May, according to Waterborne Energy consultants’ estimates.
Separately, GDF Suez’s Grace Cosmos tanker was seen heading to Mexico’s Altamira terminal from Egypt, expected on July 12.
