Canaport LNG terminal receives fourth cargo Monday

NEW YORK, Aug 24 (Reuters) - The Canaport liquefied natural gas terminal in New Brunswick received its fourth LNG cargo on Monday afternoon, a terminal spokeswoman said on Monday.

Repsol YPF’s (REP.MC) 138,000-cubic-meter Bilbao Knutsen LNG tanker set sail from Trinidad last week.

Canaport LNG, a partnership between Repsol (75 percent) and Irving Oil (25 percent), began operations in June.

Repsol is responsible for sourcing and shipping LNG to the terminal which has the capacity to send out 1 billion cubic feet of gas per day. (Reporting by Edward McAllister; Editing by Marguerita Choy)
