NEW YORK, Aug 11 (Reuters) - Cheniere Energy’s (LNG.A) Sabine Pass liquefied natural gas terminal in Louisiana will receive a cargo of LNG on Aug. 17 from Trinidad, according to AISLive ship tracking data on Reuters.
The LNG Borno tanker was last seen on Tuesday off the coast of Trinidad heading toward the U.S. Gulf Coast, with Sabine Pass logged as a destination, the data showed.
Sources said the cargo was bought by Cheniere Energy from a tender in Trinidad. Cheniere was not immediately available for comment.
Other capacity holders at the terminal include Total and Chevron. Chevron has sold part of its capacity to Spain’s Iberdrola, sources have said, though Iberdrola declined to comment on this. (Reporting by Edward McAllister; Editing by John Picinich)
