KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 7 (Reuters) - Malaysia’s gross international reserves dropped marginally to $104.5 billion as of July 31, from $104.6 billion as of July 13, the central bank said on Tuesday.

The reserves were sufficient to finance 7.5 months of retained imports, and were 1.1 times the short-term external debt, said Bank Negara Malaysia. (1 Malaysian ringgit = $0.2479) (Reporting by Praveen Menon; Editing by Richard Borsuk and Gopakumar Warrier)
