Malaysia's Dec exports up for first time since Aug

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 4 (Reuters) - Malaysia’s exports rose in December for the first time in five months, expanding 2.7% from a year earlier on higher demand for manufactured and agriculture goods, government data showed on Tuesday.

The pace beat expectations of a 1.0% fall forecast by analysts surveyed in a Reuters poll, and a sharp improvement on the 5.5% contraction in November.
