TREASURIES-US 30-year Treasury bonds gain a point in price

NEW YORK, Nov 23 (Reuters) - U.S. 30-year Treasury bonds traded a point higher in price on Wednesday as falling stocks and worries over the debt crisis in Europe fueled safe-haven buying of U.S. government debt.

Thirty-year bonds were trading a point higher, with their yield dipping to 2.83 percent, marking the lowest since Oct. 5 and down from 2.88 percent late Tuesday.

Benchmark 10-year Treasury notes were trading 10/32 higher in price to yield 1.88 percent, down from 1.92 percent late Tuesday.
