Dollar/yen hits 3-week low, seen supported above Y82

TOKYO, Dec 7 (Reuters) - The dollar fell to a three-week low against the yen on Tuesday, dropping below its 55-day moving average of 82.53 yen as traders tried to trigger stop-loss sell orders said to be around 82.50 yen.

The dollar/yen fell to as low as 82.46 yen JPY=, the lowest level since Nov. 15. Solid support is seen around 82.10, the currency pair's lower Bollinger Band. (Reporting by Hideyuki Sano; Editing by Michael Watson)
