British Airways does not want to finalise its merger with Iberia until it knows who will replace Miguel Blesa, the Chairman of Iberia’s biggest shareholder, savings bank Caja Madrid, El Economista reports citing sources with knowledge of the deal.
The newspaper says this may not be known until September.
Spain’s National Energy Commission CNE believes Acciona’s sale of 25 percent of Endesa to Italy’s Enel (ENEI.MI) does not pose a competition issue, newspaper ABC reports after gaining access to an internal report that the regulator will discuss on Thursday.
