CHART INDUSTRIES INC (GTLS.O), $18.51, up 8 pct

Engineered equipment maker posted a better-than-expected quarterly profit, helped by higher margins, and said it is seeing a rise in order activity. [ID:nSGE61N0FQ]

DOLLAR TREE INC (DLTR.O), $55.59, up 12 pct

The retailer posted a stronger-than-anticipated quarterly profit and forecast 2010 results above market expectations, sending its shares to a new all-time high. [ID:nN23224426]

A.H. BELO CORP (AHC.N), $6.61, up 10 pct

The newspaper publisher swung to a preliminary fourth-quarter profit. [ID:nWNAB1107]

LIMELIGHT NETWORK INC (LLNW.O), $3.67, down 8 pct

Shares of the company fell 7 percent a day after it posted a wider-than-expected fourth-quarter loss. [ID:nWNAB0743]

CLEAN HARBORS INC (CLH.N), $53.35, down 10 pct

The U.S. waste-management company reported a lower fourth quarter profit that missed analysts’ estimates, hurt by lower utilization of its eveready assets. [ID:SGE61N0LC]

SALIX PHARMACEUTICALS SLXP.O, $29.49, up 21 pct

The company’s diarrhea drug Xifaxan should be cleared to treat patients with a debilitating liver disorder, but more study would still be needed after approval, a U.S. Food and Drug Administration advisory panel said on Tuesday. [ID:nN23103914]

VERIGY LTD VRGY.O, $10.30, down 5 pct

CONCEPTUS INC CPTS.O, $20.10, down 6 pct

GRAFTECH INTERNATIONAL LTD GTI.N, $12.50, up 5 pct

PINNACLE GAS RESOURCES INC PINN.O $0.32, up 22 pct
