March 1 (Reuters) - Canadian oil and gas producer Husky Energy Inc reported a higher quarterly profit on Thursday, led by corporate tax cuts in the United States.
Net earnings rose to C$672 million ($523 million) in the three months ended Dec. 31 from C$186 million, a year earlier.
The U.S. tax reform gave Husky a C$436 million deferred tax benefit.
