TORONTO, Nov 27 (Reuters) - Bank of Nova Scotia reported an 8 percent rise in fourth-quarter earnings on Teusday, helped by a strong performance at its international business.
Canada’s third-biggest lender reported adjusted earnings per share of C$1.77 in the quarter ended Oct. 31, compared with C$1.65 a year ago. Analysts had, on average, forecast earnings of C$1.79 per share, according to IBES data from Refinitiv. (Reporting by Matt Scuffham, editing by Louise Heavens)
