MOSCOW, Oct 7 (Reuters) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on Tuesday summoned top state bankers to the Kremlin to discuss measures against what he described as a “large scale financial crisis”.
The meeting was attended by central bank chairman Sergei Ignatyev, chief executive of state-owned Development Bank (VEB) Vladimir Dmitriev, VTB bank VTBR.MM head Andrei Kostin, Gazprombank chief Andrei Akimov, head of markets watchdog Vladimir Milovidov, economy minister Elvira Nabiullina, finance minister Alexei Kudrin, and other key figures.
