NEW YORK, June 5 (Reuters) - Evercore Partners Inc EVR.N said on Thursday that Daniel Celentano, who was a senior managing director at Bear Stearns, is joining the boutique investment bank to expand the growing business of helping companies reorganize their finances.
Celentano joins Evercore’s William Repko and David Ying to bolster a business that is expected to thrive as more companies struggle through the credit crunch.
Celentano, who advised General Motors GM.N in the chapter 11 bankruptcy case of auto parts maker Delphi Corp DPHIQ.PK, will continue to advise GM. (Reporting by Joseph A. Giannone; editing by Jeffrey Benkoe)
