TORONTO, Oct 7 (Reuters) - Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper said on Tuesday he is concerned about the sharp falls in Canadian stock markets but said there may be some good stock bargains out there now.
He told a news conference that it is clear that a lot of investors have panicked, and he said members of his extended family have been shocked by developments in the market.
But he added: “I think there’s probably some great buying opportunities emerging in the stock market as the consequence of all this panic.” (Reporting by David Ljunggren, writing by Randall Palmer; Editing by Peter Galloway)
