MILAN, Sept 4 (Reuters) - Italy’s Massimo Zanetti has bought a majority stake in coffee roaster PT Caswell’s Indonesia as it continues to expand in Asia.
* The group acquired 67 percent of PT Caswell’s Indonesia through its Singapore-based subsidiary Boncafe International, Massimo Zanetti said in a statement
* The acquisition will allow Massimo Zanetti to bring into the Indonesian market some of its most famous coffee brands, including Boncafe and Segafredo Zanetti
* The company, which is already present in China, Cambodia, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam among the Asian countries, will seek further growth opportunities in the food service business in the region, CEO Pascal Heritier said
* The value of the deal is less than 10 million euros, a source with knowledge of the matter said (Reporting by Francesca Landini; editing by Jason Neely)
