Mexico's peso deepens losses, weakening more than 2 pct

MEXICO CITY, April 19 (Reuters) - Mexico’s peso weakened more than 2 percent on Thursday, just days after reaching its strongest level since September as investors banked on improved odds of a new North American Free Trade Agreement being signed.

On Thursday afternoon, the peso was trading at 18.3835 pesos to the dollar. (Reporting by Miguel Angel Gutierrez Editing by Christine Murray)
