FACTBOX-Security developments in Iraq, Sept 12

Sept 12 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1515 GMT on Saturday.

* BAQUBA - A bomb targeting the car of a local Sunni Arab pro-government militia leader killed two women and two children in the car in Baquba, 65 km (40 miles) northeast of Baghdad, police said, but it did not hurt the leader himself.

* BAGHDAD - Two bombs exploded metres apart and in quick succession near a book shop in central Baghdad, killing three civilians and wounding 15, police said.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb wounded two policemen when it struck their patrol in southern Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A bomb attached to a car killed a civilian and wounded another in northern Baghdad, police said.

MOSUL - A roadside bomb apparently targeting an army patrol killed a traffic policeman in northern Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

MOSUL - Two policemen were wounded in clashes with gunmen in western Mosul, north of Baghdad, police said.
