*BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb targeting a police patrol wounded four people, including two police officers, in southern Baghdad, police said.

*MAHMUDIYA - A roadside bomb went off near an Iraqi army patrol wounding five people, including three soldiers in Mahmudiya, 30 km (20 miles) south of Baghdad, police said.

KIRKUK - Gunmen in a moving car shot and wounded a policeman at a checkpoint he was manning in central Kirkuk, 250 (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

KIRKUK - A roadside bomb hit a convoy carrying the police chief of a local district in southern Kirkuk, wounding his driver, police said.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb went off near a cinema in eastern Baghdad, wounding two civilians, police said.

MAHMUDIYA - A roadside bomb exploded inside a marketplace in Mahmudiya, 30 km (20 miles) south of Baghdad, wounding six civilians, police said.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb wounded two civilians when it exploded near a police patrol in Baghdad's southern district of Doura, police said.

TARMIYA - Gunmen stormed a house of a leader of Sahwa, a government-backed militia, in Tarmiya 25 km (15 miles) north of Baghdad, late on Monday killing his wife and four children, police said.
