MOSCOW, April 22 (Reuters) - A warplane that crashed in Syria near Damascus belonged to the Syrian Air Force, Russia’s Interfax news agency quoted a Syrian military source as saying on Friday.
“The plane had recently undergone repairs... there was no attack from the ground. It crashed because of a technical fault. The pilot ejected,” Interfax quoted the source as saying.
