Nagpur, Dec 20 (Reuters) – Prices of major edible and non-edible oils today zoomed up in
Vidarbha region of Western Maharashtra on fresh buying by Vansaspati millers for the marriage
season amid a firming trend in overseas oil prices. About ten dollar per tonne hike in last
seven days in overseas oils, weak supply from producing regions and reported demand of traders
of other states also helped to push up prices, according to sources.

* Soyabean, cottonseed, groundnut loose, groundnut refined, linseed and rapeseed oils
today shot up here on good seasonal demand from local traders.
* Sunflower refined, castor and coconut KP oil ruled steady here in thin trading
activity.
* Traders expect further hike in major edible and non-edible oils here.
SOYMEAL
* Soymeal prices today shot up here on increased demand from South-based traders.

* Soyabean prices recovered strongly in Nagpur Agriculture Produce Marketing
Committee (APMC) auctions on increased demand from local crushing plants amid
thin supply from producing regions. Sharp rise on NCDEX, healthy hike in Madhya
Pradesh soyabean prices and repeated enquiries from South-based
plants also jacked up prices.
About 1,100 soyabean bags reported for auction in Nagpur APMC, according to
sources.

Nagpur, Dec 20 (Reuters) – Gram prices firmed up again in Nagpur Agriculture Produce and
Marketing Company (APMC) here on good buying support from local millers amid tight supply from
producing regions. Notable hike on NCDEX, good recovery in Madhya Pradesh gram prices and
reported demand from South-based millers also affected boosted prices.
About 100 bags of gram reported for auction, according to sources.
