Nagpur, Jan 3 (Reuters) – Soyabean oil prices today declined sharply in Vidarbha region of
Western Maharashtra today on persistent selling by stockists amid good supply from producing
regions and weak trends in Madhya Pradesh oils. Sentiment turned bearish because of fresh fall
in Malaysian palm oil. Trading activity in other edible reported weak as no trader was in mood
for any commitment because of downward trend on NCDEX, according to sources.

* Cottonseed, groundnut loose, groundnut refined, sunflower refined, linseed,
rapeseed, castor and coconut KP oil ruled steady here in thin trading activity.
* Traders expect easy condition in soyabean oil here.

* Soymeal prices today ruled steady here but demand was poor.

* Soyabean prices reported down in Nagpur Agriculture Produce Marketing
Committee (APMC) auctions on poor buying support from local crushing plants. Sharp
fall in soyabean oil, no takers to soymeal, weak trend on NCDEX and downward trend in
Madhya Pradesh soyabean prices also affected sentiment. Heavy unseasonal rains
yesterday evening affected arrival here.
About 100 soyabean bags reported for auction in Nagpur APMC, according to
sources.
