Nagpur, Dec 30 (Reuters) – About thirty dollar per tonne hike in a month in overseas edible oils
has started showing its effects here. Prices of major edible and non-edible oils today moved up
in Vidarbha region of Western Maharashtra amid weak supply from local crushing plants. Healthy
rise in Malaysian palm, sharp recovery on NCDEX, fresh hike in Madhya Pradesh oil and reported
demand from South and North-based traders also helped to push up prices, sources said Monday.

OILS
* Soyabean, cottonseed, groundnut loose, groundnut refined, sunflower refined, linseed
and rapeseed oil today flared up here on good buying support from local traders.
* Castor and coconut KP oil ruled steady here in sluggish trading activity.
* Traders expect good rise in major edible oils here.
SOYMEAL
* Soymeal prices today showed firm tendency here on good demand from South-based trader.

* Soyabean prices reported strong in Nagpur Agriculture Produce Marketing
Committee (APMC) auctions on increased demand from local crushing plants amid weak
supply from producing regions. Healthy rise in soyabean oil & soymeal, fresh hike on
NCDEX, good recovery in Madhya Pradesh soyabean prices and repeated enquiries from
South-based plants also boosted prices here.
About 600 soyabean bags reported for auction in Nagpur APMC, according to
sources.
