Nagpur, Jan 7 (Reuters) – The slide in soyabean and cottonseed oil prices continued unabated in
Vidarbha region of Western Maharashtra for second day today on persistent selling by stockists
amid good supply from producing regions and weak trends in overseas markets. Sentiment turned
bearish as American soya digam reported down. Fresh fall on in Madhya Pradesh soyabean oil also
affected sentiment, according to sources.

* Groundnut loose, groundnut refined, sunflower refined, linseed, rapeseed,
castor and coconut KP oil ruled steady here in thintrading activity.
* Traders expect downward trend in soyabean and cottonseed oil here.
SOYMEAL
* Soymeal prices today showed weak tendency here on lack of demand from South-based
traders.

* Soyabean prices suffered heavily in Nagpur Agriculture Produce Marketing
Committee (APMC) auctions on lack of demand from local crushing plants. Sharp fall in
soyabean oil in last two sessions, weak trend in soymeal, easy condition on NCDEX and
downward trend in Madhya Pradesh soyabean prices also affected sentiment.
About 600 soyabean bags reported for auction in Nagpur APMC, according to
sources.
