NEW YORK, April 10 (Reuters) - Shareholders should withhold their votes for three nominees to the New York Times Co (NYT.N) board, a key shareholder services group said on Thursday.
Shareholders should vote withheld for current board members David Liddle, Ellen Marram and Thomas Middelhoff, RiskMetrics’s Institutional Shareholder Services unit said in a report released on Thursday and written on April 9.
The three nominees serve on the company’s compensation committee.
“In light of the company’s continuous poor stock performance, ISS believes that there is disconnect between pay and performance,” the group wrote. (Editing by Jeffrey Benkoe)
