OG&E says unit ends plan to build Oklahoma power plant

Oct 11 (Reuters) - OG&E Energy Corp (OGE.N) said its OG&E Electric Services unit, Public Service Co of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority have terminated the agreements on building and operating 950-megawatt Red Rock plant.
OG&E said it estimated its share of costs in the planning phase of the Red Rock project to be between $18 million and $20 million.
The company intends to seek regulatory recovery of those costs, it said in a statement. (Reporting by Purwa Khandelwal in Bangalore)
