S.Korea says to expand tariff-free pork imports

SEOUL, Feb 11 (Reuters) - South Korea plans to expand tariff-free pork imports to ease a supply shortage due to outbreaks of foot-and-mouth disease and to ease inflation, Vice Finance Minister Yim Jong-yong said on Friday.

Yim made the remark during a scheduled meeting of senior government officials to discuss inflation trends. (Reporting by Lee Shin-hyung; Writing by Yoo Choonsik; Editing by Jonathan Hopfner)
