BUS DRIVERS THREATEN FIRSTGROUP WITH STRIKE
FirstGroupFGP.L will face industrial action on Monday, with several thousand of the bus and rail operator's drivers striking over a pay freeze, threatening services on hundreds of routes.
The Unite union clams that FirstGroup has imposed the pay freeze on all 19 of its bus operators, despite making record profits of 200 million pounds last year.
FirstGroup said that talks are currently going on locally with different pay offers made across the UK and that it hoped the dispute would be settled through the negotiations.
