Doctor group hopes amicus brief will support families in Sandy Hook lawsuit

A group of emergency physicians who treat patients shot by assault rifles hopes that an amicus brief filed with the Connecticut Supreme Court, will lend support in an upcoming hearing in a lawsuit arising from the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.

The state’s Supreme Court earlier this week announced it would hear arguments in the appeal on Nov. 14.
