India's Ranbaxy gets Canada nod for Ran-Amlodipine

MUMBAI, July 20 (Reuters) - Indian drug-maker Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd RANB.BO said on Monday it had got approval from Health Canada Therapeutic Products Directorate to make and market Ran-Amlodipine tablets in the country.

The tablets are used for hypertension and cardiac problems.

Ranbaxy is majority owned by Japan’s Daiichi Sankyo (4568.T). (Reporting by Janaki Krishnan)
