Russia says no visa to TNK-BP CEO without contract

MOSCOW, July 21 (Reuters) - Russia’s migration service said on Monday it would not grant a visa to TNK-BP Chief Executive Robert Dudley before he presents a valid contract, saying it believed his previous contract had expired.

Dudley insists he has a valid contract.

“We cannot grant a visa to Mr Dudley before he presents a valid contract. The previous contract expired and we have no proof that it has been prolonged,” an official from the migration service told Reuters. (Reporting by Katya Golubkova, writing by Dmitry Zhdannikov; editing by Robin Paxton)
