NEW YORK, Jan 15 (Reuters) - All passengers managed to get off a plane that went down in the river off New York City on Thursday, a Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman said.
“We’ve confirmed everyone got off,” the spokeswoman told Reuters.
The US Airways passenger jet headed for Charlotte, North Carolina, was carrying 148 passengers and four or five crew, the FAA said. (Reporting by Tim Gardner; Editing by John O’Callaghan)
