MOSCOW, July 16 (Reuters) - Russian gas export monopoly Gazprom GAZP.MM may sue Belarus over unpaid debts for gas supplies, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
The statement quoted Gazprom Deputy CEO Alexander Ananenkov as telling the head of Belarus’ gas pipeline monopoly Beltransgaz Vladimir Mayorov during a meeting in Moscow Gazprom reserves the right to go to court if Belarus does not pay the debt.
It did not provide the debt figure.
