NEW DELHI, Dec 2 (Reuters) - India’s Tata Teleservices November subscriber additions are close to the previous month’s level of 3.88 million, Managing Director Anil Sardana said on Wednesday.
Tate Teleservices [TATASL.UL], 26 percent owned by Japan's NTT DoCoMo 9437.T, is India's sixth largest telecoms firm with 50.7 million users as at end October, and has been topping the subscriber additions chart for three straight months.
It added 3.88 million users in October, while all telecoms firms added a record 16.67 million users in the month.
India, with 488.40 million mobile users at end October, is the world’s second-largest market for such services after China and is fast growing. (Reporting by C.J. Kuncheria; Editing by Malini Menon)
