HANOI, Nov 13 (Reuters) - France Telecom FTE.PA, Europe's third-biggest operator, said on Friday it was on track to reach full-year business targets, despite lower-than-expected third quarter earnings.
In late October, the firm posted third quarter earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation of 4.56 billion euros ($6.72 billion) and warned of rising restructuring costs due to tensions with staff.
“We are exactly in line with what we have said at the end of the year and I consider that we will be able to deliver the performance we have promised to the market for the full year for France Telecom,” Chief Executive Officer Didier Lombard told a news conference in Vietnam’s capital.
