Russia Vimpelcom buys Corbina stake for $404 mln

MOSCOW, June 3 (Reuters) - Vimpelcom VIP.N, Russia's second-biggest cellphone operator, said on Tuesday it had signed a deal to buy the remaining 49 percent of Internet provider Corbina it does not already own for around $404 million.

Vimpelcom, majority owned by Russia's Alfa Group and Norway's Telenor TEL.OL, currently has 51 percent in Corbina and will buy the remaining stake from Inure Enterprises. (Reporting by Maria Kiselyova, editing by Gleb Bryanski)
