Japan's Idemitsu shuts desulphuriser after problem

TOKYO, Dec 16 (Reuters) - Japanese refiner Idemitsu Kosan Co (5019.T) said it shut a 60,000 barrels per day heavy oil desulphurisation unit at its 160,000 bpd Aichi refinery in central Japan on Tuesday after a problem.

The company expects the unit to be shut for about 10 days, a company spokesman said. (Reporting by Osamu Tsukimori; Editing by Michael Watson)
