Remembering Robert Morgenthau: A 2016 Q&A on immigration and Donald Trump

Editor’s note: Robert Morgenthau, who died yesterday just 10 days short of his 100th birthday, stepped down as Manhattan district attorney in 2009 after 35 years in office and many more in government service before that. Morgenthau served as U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York during the Kennedy and Johnson administrations and as a naval officer during World War II.
