Renault accuses foreign firm in spy case-prosecutor

PARIS, Jan 13 (Reuters) - French carmaker Renault (RENA.PA) has accused a private company in a foreign country in its legal complaint over industrial espionage, the Paris prosecutor said on Thursday. Asked which country was concerned, the prosecutor, Jean-Claude Marin, said: “It’s Renault’s position. They don’t cite a foreign power, they only cite private persons.” Renault earlier said it had filed a complaint with the prosecutor against “persons unknown” relating to “industrial espionage, corruption, breach of trust, theft and concealment”.
