S.Africa's Famous Brands removes ready-to-eat meat from retail outlets

JOHANNESBURG, March 5 (Reuters) - South African fast food chain owner Famous Brands said on Monday it was recalling ready-to-eat meat products from menus across its outlets following the listeria scare.

The affected food chains are Mugg & Bean, Wimpy, Steers and Vovo Telo bakery, the group’s Chief Marketing Officer Linda Sinclair told Reuters.
