Shell CEO says Iraq gas deal will take time

LONDON, Nov 24 (Reuters) - Royal Dutch Shell Plc (RDSa.L)’s Chief Executive said it will take time to conclude a preliminary deal under which the Anglo/Dutch oil major will produce gas in southern Iraq.

“Don’t expect miracles in the first or second quarter,” van der Veer told reporters on the sidelines of the Confederation of British Industry’s annual conference on Monday.
