SINGAPORE, Aug 15 (Reuters) - Private homes sales by developers in Singapore surged 55 percent in July from a year earlier, government data showed on Wednesday.
Developers sold 1,724 units last month, compared with 1,112 units in the same month a year earlier, date compiled by the Urban Redevelopment Authority showed.
The level of sales more than doubled from the 654 units sold in June.
