IMF chief says Japan needs to urgently address fiscal woes

SINGAPORE, Feb 1 (Reuters) - Japan needs to urgently address its fiscal problems, International Monetary Fund Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn said on Tuesday.

Strauss-Kahn, who was speaking at an event organised by the Singapore central bank, said he does not expect the problems in Egypt and Tunisia will have an impact globally beyond the oil markets. (Reporting by Kevin Lim; Editing by Saeed Azhar)
