PRAGUE, Dec 17 (Reuters) - Slovak utility Slovenske Elektrarne has moved to a new phase of testing its new unit 3 at the Mochovce nuclear power plant and expects fuel loading and start-up tests could be carried out by the end of April 2020, it said on Tuesday.

The company said an expert mission from the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) will come for an inspection in early 2020.

“Slovenske Elektrarne expects that the fuel loading to the reactor and subsequent physical and power start-up tests could be performed by the end of April 2020,” it said in a statement on its website.
