Spectra, Conoco in Rockies gas shipment pact

NEW YORK, May 21 (Reuters) - Spectra Energy Corp SE.N said Wednesday that it and ConocoPhillips COP.N signed an agreement to deliver up to 395 million cubic feet per day of Rocky Mountain natural gas to the U.S. Northeast through a planned pipeline expansion.

The gas would be delivered by November 2010 from Clarington, Ohio, through Spectra’s Texas Eastern Transmission pipeline system via a planned expansion called the TEMAX project.

Financial details of the contract between Spectra and ConocoPhillips were not released. (Reporting by Matt Daily, editing by Gerald E. McCormick)
