Conoco restarts Lake Charles refinery

NEW YORK, Sept 3 (Reuters) - ConocoPhillips (COP.N) said on Wednesday it was restarting its 280,000 barrel per day oil refinery in Lake Charles, Louisiana, in the wake of Hurricane Gustav — a process that could take 10 to 14 days.

The company said its 195,000 bpd Alliance oil refinery in Belle Chasse, Louisiana, remained shut and without power. (Reporting by Richard Valdmanis)
