U.S. EPA lifts some fuel rules for Texas to reduce storm shortages

Aug 26 (Reuters) - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said late Friday it had lifted some gasoline requirements for Texas to address potential shortages resulting from Hurricane Harvey.

The waiver allows for the sale of gasoline that does not comply with regular environmental guidelines until Sept. 15. (Reporting by Jessica Resnick-Ault in New York; Editing by Lisa Shumaker)
