India's Suzlon says U.S. firm cancels order

MUMBAI, June 9 (Reuters) - Indian wind turbine maker Suzlon Energy Ltd (SUZL.BO) said on Monday a customer in the United States had cancelled purchase of 150 units of its turbines, reducing its order backlog by 315 megawatts.

California-based Edison Mission Energy had decided not to buy the turbines which were due for delivery in 2009, it said. (Reporting by Hiral Vora; Editing by Ranjit Gangadharan)
