Swiss government says no breakthrough in EU treaty talks

BERN, Nov 23 (Reuters) - Talks between Switzerland and the European Union on forging a new bilateral treaty to cement ties have failed to produce a breakthrough, President Doris Leuthard said on Thursday after meeting European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker.

She told reporters there were still differences in two or three areas and that negotiations that started in 2014 would continue.
